The Hills: New Beginnings” was recently renewed for a second season, and Spencer Pratt has already knew who to sign for the upcoming season. In a new interview with Daily Pop, Spencer revealed that he was hoping for Olivia Jade Gianulli to appear on the show.

“I want to hear her story on the show,” the reality TV star said of Lori Loughlin‘s daughter who was embroiled in a headline-making college adminissions scam. “I want to get down to the bottom of this.”

Well, it is entirely possible to get Olivia on the show because Spencer apparently has a connection to her. Jackson Guthy, whom Olivia dates on-and-off, was Spencer’s best man at his 2009 wedding which was featured in the original “The Hills”. Spencer, however, noted that Jackson wasn’t totally recognizable since he “was a little kid at the time.”

Casting Olivia was one of his hopes for the next season, but Spencer said that he would be fine if it didn’t happen. “You know what, even though I dislike our whole cast, I love watching them.” He then shaded his co-stars, “Having to interact with them is horrible.”

Following news of her parents Lori and Mossimo Gianulli being involved in the college admissions scam back in February, Olivia previously stayed out of limelight before making an Instagram return last month. The 19-year-old took to the photo-sharing platform to give a birthday shout-out to her mom on July 30. “one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much,” so she wrote in the caption alongside a throwback pic featuring a younger Lori holding Olivia as a baby.

Lori and Mossimo, meanwhile, pled not guilty to the charges of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering for allegedly paying $500,000 to get their daughters Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade accepted into the USC as part of the school’s rowing team even though neither of them participated in the sport. However, she allegedly regretted doing so.

“She is watching the reduced sentences of those who have taken plea deals, and wondering each day if she’s made the wrong decision,” a source shared. While the “Fuller House” star “still feels it’s a huge misunderstanding,” she couldn’t help feeling “scared” after “seeing others be sentenced” in the case.
