The Bengals cut Walton in April after he was arrested for the third time in three months. Cincinnati had used a fourth-round pick on Walton in 2018. According to reports, Walton faces a felony charge (carrying a concealed weapon) and three misdemeanor charges (marijuana possession, reckless driving and resisting an officer without violence), all coming this year.
Assuming Walton sticks in Miami, he could have an opportunity to carve out a role along with Kenyan Drake and Kalen Ballage. Walton tallied 34 yards on 14 carries as a rookie. He ran for 1,100 yards and scored 14 TDs as a sophomore with the Miami Hurricanes.
