Cape Town – Kaizer Chiefs’ recent signing Lazarous Kambole has broken into the starting line-up for the Carling Black Cup final ahead of Leonardo Castro.
Fans vote for those who they’d like to see play in the pre-season exhibition match which is set to take place on July 27 at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
It appears that Chiefs fans are excited about the arrival of the Zambia international as he has overtaken Castro in the starting-XI for the game later this month.
As it stands, he will partner Bernard Parker in attack for the encounter against fierce rivals Orlando Pirates.
In midfield, so far the Glamour Boys have Khama Billiat, Siphelele Ntshangase, George Maluleka and Dumisani Zuma.
In defence, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Daniel Cardoso, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Lorenzo Gordinho appear set to start, though Happy Mashiane is also in the hunt for a berth.
Other new signings remain off the pace for selection which includes Samir Nurkovic and Kearyn Baccus.
